VARANASI:

CHITRAKOOT:
Chitrakoot is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage stations in India as it is believed that Lord Rama, his wife Sita and brother Lakshman spent their 14 years of exile at this place. It is situated in Uttar Pradesh, along the river Mandakini, also known as Payaswaini river. The main attractions to visit at chitrakoot are: Ramghat, Kamadgiri temple, Sati anusuya temple, Chitrakoot falls, Gupt Godavari caves, Hanuman Dhara temple, Kamtaji temple, Sphatik Shila, janaki Kund and Bharat Milap Mandir. The Ram Ghat of the Mandakini river is dotted with several temples of various sizes of various Hindu deities. You can visit the famous Bharat Milap temple here and attend the lovely evening prayer at the ghat. The kamadgiri Parikrama is a 5 km pradakshina around the mountain for fulfilling wishes. Hanuman dhara temple is a beautiful view of cascading water flowing over the idol of Lord Hanuman on a mountain peak. Two Gupt Godavari caves with streaming Godavari water Nasik is an adventurous location for tourists. Sphatik Shilas are two big rocks, where Lord Rama and Sita used to sit and relax. Chitrakoot falls is the widest of all falls in India and is a picturesque beauty to all the pilgrims.

Mathura is known as birth place of lord Krishna and is located on the western bank of river Yamuna For about 3000 Year it was the hub of culture and civilization .. During the festive days of Holi, Janmashthami and Diwali, it is decorated on a grandiose scale. GITA MANDIR in city outskirts, the temple carving and painting are a major attraction.Vrindavan is 15 km from Mathura , another major place of pilgrimage. It is noted for its numerous temples - both old and modern. The name Vrindavan evokes the playfulness and lovable characteristics of Shri Krishna.
